We have three comfortable double rooms, each featuring private bathrooms and underfloor heating, available for rent individually. Guests can enjoy a spacious communal kitchen and a stunning terrace with breathtaking views of the mountains, the lake, and the village. Our accommodation proudly holds sustainable accreditation by Europarc. For those looking to explore, we offer two E-MTBs available for rent, perfect for discovering the beauty of the mountains and the village. See AllViaverde, Tranvia de Guejar This trail is one of two routes of Vía Verde, in the province of Granada and Güéjar Sierra, it can be considered as a pioneer in the creation of accessible hiking routes. This route has been conditioned so that we can all enjoy the history and nature.The route of the Sierra Nevada tram follows the tracks left by the tracks of the old tramway that more than forty years ago stopped performing. Those wagons that once connected the city of Granada with the heart of the Sierra Nevada were part of an ambitious project that crossed tunnels through the mountains, with impossible curvatures and peeping out in a multitude of points onto cliffs and gorges leaving amazing impressions of the valley. The traveler can enjoy chestnut fields and the river Genil, accompanying the route as well as seeing and enjoying the old tram stations of today qualified as restaurants and where you can taste typical Guejareña food or mixture of Arabic flavors and Andalusian flavours.Alhambra The world-famous Alhambra building is located near Granada. This centuries-old fortress is one of the most famous buildings in the world. Nowadays you will still find buildings at this location that date back to the thirteenth century. The Red Palace, as the Alhambra is also called, is a unique building with traces from a long period of European history due to its long history of different cultures and influences. The location mainly served as a fortress and palace. Here you will find traces from the Islamic world and the Christian world. Sometimes styles from both worlds in one object. The running of the water and movement of the leaves, added to filling the air in your lungs with pure air emanates from the rocks.Starting from the Barranco de San, we promise that this route will not leave you disappointed, as it will allow you to have before your eyes images of the colossal Sierra Nevada. From the viewpoint you can see the greatness of the chestnut fields, considered of the best of our Autonomous Community. Not only nature but also there is also some history present during this walk , travellers will be able to cross zones by which passengers once traveled in the tram that united Granada with Sierra Nevada and enjoy the twentieth century architecture of its stations. Some converted today into restaurants. Also during the trip the visitor will encounter the mines of the 19th century and a primitive forest that in autumn becomes a palette of colors in ocher, browns and shades of yellow that delights photographers.Los Lavaderos de la Reina During spring, let us take you from Güéjar Sierra to one of the most unique and unusual places in the mountain, well known by Grenadians and those who love trekking.A circular hiking route through the ancient Sierra Nevada glacier, that throughout the winter has gathered a lot of snow, and it is in spring when you truly see how speacial this place is, the wonders of nature that remained hidden in winter between the thickness of the snow now begin to run with rivers of pure and clear water, endemic plants that are born and appear to the nearby sun of the most beautiful time of the year.In the months of April And May, the particular nature and ecosystem of this National Park considered as the largest of the peninsula, allows us to walk between the furrows of the thaw and touch the snow without the thermal sensation of cold. A show for the eyes and all the senses in general, very close to our town.The Pradollano Ski station Sierra Nevada provides one of the widest and most attractive ski areas in southern Europe. The winter resort has 112,5 skiable km distributed in 134 slopes with the highest slope in Spain (1,200m)Via Ferrata La Araña The municipality of Güejar Sierra has a new via ferrata in the province of Granada. This new experience offers a total of 895 meters of fun, including hanging bridges, a pendulum, an ADN ladder, and two 130-meter-long zip lines for pure adrenaline. The difficulty level is K3+ for itinerary I and K4 if you start with itinerary II. Both itineraries converge just before the zip lines and continue at a K3 level. You’ll need to conserve energy for the return trip, which also involves climbing stairs with two overhangs. Along the route, you’ll face various challenges such as Tibetan bridges, monkey bridges, wooden bridges, as well as exciting features like the Pendulum and the Palillos. Additionally, you’ll encounter steep sections equipped with chains. You’ll also have the option to enjoy two optional 130-meter zip lines, allowing you to cross the rocky circus and complete the via ferrata, providing an unparalleled experience. At this point, if you decide not to continue, the only escape option is to exit the ferrata.Granada, Gorafe Close to Gorafe and within the "Desierto de Gorafe" Geo-Route, Los Colorados is the name the locals give to a landscape where a reddish colour dominates. This tone justifies the name ("red-coloured" in Spanish is "colorado"), the cause of which is found in the ground, comprised of the dismantling of rocks due to the oxidant nature of sediments.The shapes that appear in this area are escarpments that resemble walls with impregnable bastions, crowned by a projection of whitish colour, which clearly shows the different erosion between lower lime and clay levels and the upper layers of gypsum that protects them. You will also be able to observe an erosive phenomenon native to this climate of scarce but torrential rainfall: to the south, in areas exempt from vegetation, are eroded, walled reliefs, while to the north these forms are absent due to the presence of a protective esparto (Stipa tenacissima) covering.
